TNR WORKS!

We are a registered 501(c)(3) focused on “TNR” to reduce the overpopulation of homeless, abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens.

We humanely reduce cat overpopulation in our area by trapping, spaying, or neutering, and fostering/returning cats to their communities.

While not every cat can be a domestic indoor cat, our community cats deserve a loving safe space to call home, too. Join our foster network.

We educate children and adults about the importance of spaying and neutering and promote responsible, humane pet ownership.

Recognizing Our Major Donors

Community Cats of Bonita Springs FL would like to pay a special tribute to a very generous donation made to our 503c charity on behalf of sisters, Linda & Patricia Delgrosso.  Linda & Patricia lived their life in the company of cats which they regularly took in as their family.  They both took pride in being an advocate for felines and supported many rescues throughout their lives.  Cats enhanced their lives and their love of animals is a big part of their legacy.  We pay tribute to these two amazing women, who are loved and deeply missed by their large family and friends.

We want to extend a very special thanks to their brother and sister-in-law, Cosmo &  Francesca Delgrosso both of North Naples.  They each facilitated this generous donation as a celebration of Linda & Patricia’s life and legacy.  We are grateful for your generosity and are humbled beyond measure.

This generous gift will be used directly in Community Cats of Bonita Spring’s daily mission to provide TNR spay/neuter, vet services, weekly cat colony feeding, foster, and adoption services for rescued cats in Bonita Springs FL.

We’re so grateful for the donation in Linda & Patricia’s name through her beautiful family.  Please join us in paying tribute to Linda and Patricia both by celebrating their life which touched so many

What is Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR)?

Humane, effective, and cost-effective way to manage outdoor cat populations. Trapping, spaying or neutering, and returning these cats to their communities reduces the number of cats euthanized in animal shelters and contributes to a decrease in cat overpopulation. TNR combines with traditional animal control resources to be more effective, and humane and reduces costs in the long run.

Adopt A Cat

Adopting a friendly community cat is not only a wonderful way to find a loving companion, but it also helps to reduce cat overpopulation in our community.

By adopting a community cat, you not only gain a loyal companion but also help to give a deserving animal a second chance at a happy life. Plus, by adopting a community cat, you are helping to reduce the number of cats on the streets, which in turn reduces the negative impacts that can come from cat overpopulation.

It’s a win-win situation that benefits both you and your community!
